Grand Cherokee's Instrument Panel shown here includes the Infrared Dual Zone Climate Control System (standard on Limited). This system allows both the driver and front-seat passenger to select his or her own comfort levels. The system's sensors then continually measure surface temperatures in the zones for the driver and front-seat passenger - making adjustments in airflow and temperature when necessary to maintain the selected comfort level.
